Stjepan Richtaritsch
Let me introduce you to Stjepan! He’s been throwing since 2016 both IATF and WATL! Coming out of Bad Axe Waterloo in Ontario Canada, his love of throwing all things sharp started with a Birthday Party in Kitchener. He found out there were leagues, so he joined to try something new and to meet new people. He started throwing well, got into tournaments and Worlds, and the rest is history.
What Stjepan loves most about axe throwing is the people around him, travelling to compete, seeing old friends and meeting new ones along the way. His first few tournaments were big, starting off with IATC in 2017 and his 1st WATL Tournament, WATC Arizona 2019, with a lot since then! He is hoping to win a Tier 3 before the end of the year and hopes to qualify for a Worlds Bid. The next big one you’ll see him at will be the Pro-Am.
Stjepan loves to meet new people! He has met many over the years at various events and it's always a pleasure to catch up with them. Some of his favorite axe throwing phrases he likes to share are “Stjep-Up” and the always famous “throw better”.
While not slinging the steel Stjepan enjoys German dancing, plays Button Box Accordion, is a hockey player, always participates in Oktoberfest in Kitchener-Waterloo, and of course loves spending time with his family. Lawn Bowling might be his new adventure. (Sorry, not into disc golf, lol)
